About Us

Our Journey

We are an Indian couple who loves travel & admire Hindu art! We have explored most of the Southeast & middle east Asian countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Qatar, UAE, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines & Indonesia.

Most of our travel to these countries due to our work commitment & most importantly we love traveling!

We stayed in Indonesia for almost 4 years(2018-2022). And we have covered almost all the tourist places in Indonesia. Our favorite is Bali(visited in the year 2018), it is well known to many of you that Bali is very famous for its world’s most beautiful beaches & nature. But what fascinated us was Bali’s Hindu culture!
You can find Hindu sculptures, especially our Lord Ganesha in every home, restaurant & almost every entrance!

We were so thrilled & excited to see Hindu culture. Bali is very rich in culture & Balinese follow their cultural rituals so religiously that we were so astonished & happy to see all those other countries other than our India.
Not only their rituals but there were also many wooden artifacts of Hindu Gods, Goddess & many paintings related to our Mahabharat & Ramayana as well! Bali is truly an “Island of the gods”. The Balinese wood carvings are so meticulous, vibrant & stunning, that you will not find them anywhere in the world.

Out travel journey also halted for a few years when the whole world came to standstill due to the Pandemic. When we finally decided to resume our travel again, we started  Ofcourse, with BALI!
As usual, we were excited but we were so disheartened to see the plight of people, and artists in Bali. The art shops which we once visited before the pandemic was closed & instead there were some local food eatery shops everywhere!
When we enquired, we got to know that due to no tourists, they are not able to sell a single piece of their art piece which has forced them to leave behind their artistry work which they had followed for ages!
That’s when we decided to help them. So we came up with the idea of giving a platform to artists to sell their artwork on our Gajahastha E-commerce shop.
